Go Rangers!

Today has been a good day! River and I visited Nick at work and had lunch with him. I have been off work since last Thursday, so I have had several days at home with River. He has been sick for most of the week (low grade fever, cough, sinus congestion), but was feeling much better today. I am so glad that I have been off to stay at home with him while he wasn't feeling good. He was back to smiling, laughing, and growling (he's practicing for Halloween. He's going to be a lion!).

Tonight we are watching the Texas Rangers. River loves it when we say "Go Rangers Go!". The Rangers are in the World Series playing against the Saint Louis Cardinals. If they win tonight, they will be the World Series champions. We have really enjoyed watching them play. Here is a picture of my little Ranger fan:

I watch the soap opera General Hospital and every time the intro song comes on River has to look at the TV. It does not matter what he is doing. Today he was eating, but he had to take a break because he heard "his song".

River in his bouncer! You can tell in his eyes that he hasn't been feeling good, but he has a big smile on his face!
