Well, after a lot of thought, I have decided to start blogging. I mainly decided to do this to keep family and friends updated on River and how he is growing everyday. Also, I will use this blog as a way to keep up with River's milestones and the daily things that go on in the Hoffman Family.
So, for those of you who do not know me, here is a little bit about my sweet family:
Nick and I met in Stephenville, Texas at Graham Street Church of Christ while we were both attending Tarleton State University. From the first time I met him, I knew he was very special. We started dating in April of 2003. I spent 2 years at Tarleton before moving on to Pharmacy School at Texas Tech University in 2004. Nick graduated from Tarleton in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Services and Development. In 2006, Nick moved to Lubbock to get his Master's Degree at Texas Tech.
We got married on July 29, 2006 (one of the best days of my life!).
Nick graduated from Texas Tech in December of 2007 and I graduated from Texas Tech Pharmacy School in May of 2008.
We then moved to Teague, Texas, bought a house, and started our careers.
Nick is a County Extension Agent for Freestone County and works in Fairfield and I am a Staff Pharmacist for H-E-B in Mexia. On May 3, 2011 (the other best day of my life!) we were blessed with the most precious baby boy, River Bland. He is truly the light of our lives!
We also have one other member of our family: Callie, our dog.
